01About these terms
These terms apply when you use this website or engage Dekada Digital (“Dekada”, “we”, “us”) for website design, development, maintenance, domain or hosting services. By using this website or approving a quote from us, you agree to these terms.
Where a signed proposal or service agreement says something different, that document takes priority for that project.
02Our services
We provide website design, website development, website maintenance, and domain and hosting services. The exact scope, timeline and price for your project are set out in the quote or proposal we send you.
Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before we start it.
03Quotes and payment
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- Projects usually start once a deposit is paid. The deposit and payment schedule are stated in your quote.
- Maintenance and hosting are billed in advance for each period.
- Invoices are due on the date shown on the invoice. We may pause work or services on overdue accounts after giving you notice.
- Prices are in Philippine pesos unless stated otherwise.
04What we need from you
To deliver on time we need your content, feedback and approvals when agreed. Delays in providing these may move the timeline.
You confirm that you have the right to use any text, images, logos and other materials you give us, and that they do not infringe anyone else’s rights.
05Ownership
- Your content stays yours.
- The finished website, including the design and custom code we create for you, becomes yours once the project is paid in full.
- Third-party items such as plugins, fonts, stock images and software stay subject to their own licences.
- We may reuse general know-how, techniques and non-client-specific code in other work.
- Unless you ask us not to, we may show the finished project in our portfolio.
06Domains and hosting
Domains we help you buy are registered in your name. You are responsible for renewal fees.
Websites we host run on our own server. We take reasonable steps to keep them online, backed up and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not responsible for outages caused by third parties or events outside our control.
07Maintenance and support
Maintenance covers the work described in your plan or proposal. We reply to requests the same business day, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (Philippine time), excluding public holidays.
If your website was built by another team, we will tell you about any existing issues we find, but we are not responsible for faults in work we did not carry out.
08Security work
When we remediate security findings, we fix the items listed in the report you provide and support the retest. No website can be guaranteed free of all vulnerabilities, and new issues can appear over time.
09Limits of liability
We carry out our work with reasonable skill and care. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service the claim relates to, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost data.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Philippine law that cannot be excluded.
10Ending a project or service
Either of us may end a project or an ongoing service with written notice. You pay for work completed up to that date. Deposits cover work already scheduled and are not refundable once work has begun.
When a hosting or maintenance service ends, we will give you a copy of your website files on request.
11Using this website
The content on this website is for general information. You may not copy our designs, text or code for commercial use without our permission. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
12Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. We may update them from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
